The Role
The Curriculum Administrator is a key part of the College’s Administration Team, working within a team that supports both learners and staff throughout the academic year. This role is extremely important in assisting the Administration team achieve its goals which link into the Group’s vision.
You will be committed to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. You will be aligned to a specific academic department and be responsible for the curriculum admin liaison within that department, along with developing skills to ensure cover for other roles within the office.
- Chase and monitor student absence/behaviour in line with associated policy.
- Work with academic staff to cleanse data to ensure funding is maximised.
- Input timetables onto the College’s information system.
- Arrange meetings and take minutes.
- Communicate with external employers, partners and clients to promote the reputation of the College.
- Support Classroom Based Learning / Work Based Learning / Employability / Community and ESOL provision in all aspects of administrative functions.
- Support awards evenings and Higher Education graduation events.
- Support the switchboard/reception when required.
- Experience working within a similar administration role, ideally within further education.
- Good working knowledge of computer systems; use of Pro Solution and associated systems would be advantageous.
- High level of customer service experience, with strong interpersonal skills and proven examples of how you have demonstrated this in previous roles.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) and a Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or be working towards a Level 3.
You will report to the Senior Administrator and work as part of a Curriculum Administration Team.
