Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised team player to join us as a Hire Controller at our Worksop depot. This is a fast-paced, office-based role where you'll play a key part in delivering great service to our customers.
Responsibilities- Liaise with potential and existing clients, offering services and providing quotations
- Ensure all administration is always up to date
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Operate as a link between the Sales and Operational functions whilst coordinating hires
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and collections with transport and depot teams
- Monitor equipment availability and manage scheduling to meet customer demand
- Update and maintain accurate hire records, including hire extensions and off-hires
- Assist with resolving equipment or service issues promptly and professionally
- Excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the phone
- Customer focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of the hire industry would be beneficial, however full training will be provided on our products
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload under pressure
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Must have experience in sales or customer service
