Are you a Psychology graduate looking to apply your understanding of behaviourism and developmental psychology in a practical setting?

A welcoming primary school in Worksop is urgently seeking a calm and analytical graduate to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time, term-time position focuses on supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to gain frontline experience. You will move beyond theory to implement bespoke behaviour intervention plans, working with students who require a steady, consistent presence to help them regulate and engage.

What the Position Offers You:

Apply Your Degree:
Utilise your knowledge of ABA, CBT principles, or attachment theory to support real-world de-escalation and positive reinforcement.

Competitive Pay:
Receive a daily rate of £90-£120, recognising the specialist nature of this work.

Stability & Routine:
Work Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm) within a single school, allowing you to build deep, trusting relationships.

Candidate Requirements:

A degree in Psychology (or a related field) is highly desirable.

Practical experience supporting individuals with SEN, specifically those exhibiting challenging behaviour.

A firm grasp of de-escalation techniques and strategies for supporting ASD/SEMH.

A resilient, patient, and analytical mindset.

An up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
