Salary: £25+ per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible)
Reed Further Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced TESOL Assessor/Tutor to support learners undertaking their TESOL qualification.
Please note: This is NOT an ESOL teaching role. The position focuses on assessing and supporting trainee TESOL practitioners rather than delivering ESOL lessons to learners.
- Assess learners working towards their TESOL qualification
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to trainee teachers
- Conduct observations and assess teaching practice
- Ensure assessment decisions meet awarding body and quality standards
- Maintain accurate learner records and progress tracking
- Support learners in successfully achieving their qualification
- Assessors Award (CAVA / A1 or equivalent)
- PTLLS / AET (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Experience delivering or supporting TESOL training
- Strong understanding of assessment processes and quality standards
- Ability to mentor and support trainee teachers
- Experience assessing teaching qualifications
- Background in teacher training or education programmes
- Exclusive representation to leading FE colleges, prisons, and training providers in the area

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
