Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
- Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
- Access to accredited Education-relevant CPD courses.
- Competitive salary up to £220 per day.
