GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently looking for a Secondary Teacher to work within a supportive secondary school in Worksop. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, encourage academic progress and create a positive learning experience for students across your specialist subject area.

The school offers an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Staff work closely together to maintain high standards of teaching, positive behaviour and strong pastoral care. The school is easily accessible within Worksop.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
• An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up‑to‑date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safe recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.

In addition to that, GSL Education is currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts & Cs apply).
