Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) needed in Worksop. We are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our team, working across various primary schools in Worksop on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress into the teaching profession and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be responsible for covering lessons and providing 1:1 intervention sessions to help ensure every child achieves their full potential.

• Cover lessons across primary school settings as directed.
• Provide 1:1 intervention sessions to support individual pupil progress.
• Support teachers with class management and learning activities.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience leading groups of primary-aged pupils.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Level 4 HLTA qualification or a BA Hons Degree in Education.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo relevant safer recruitment checks as per DFE regulations.
• Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

• Excellent rates of pay between £100 to £145 per day (dependent on experience and inclusive of holiday pay).
