A friendly and supportive primary school in Worksop is looking to appoint a motivated Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from September
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn and develop, with full support provided by the school.
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning.
Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Support children with additional needs where required.
Assist with classroom preparation, displays and learning resources.
Encourage positive behaviour and build pupils’ confidence and independence.
Supervise children during lessons and other school activities.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children in any setting, such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, tutoring, youth work, holiday clubs or care.
Is enthusiastic, patient and eager to learn.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Is reliable, proactive and enjoys working as part of a team.
Is considering a long-term career in education.
A Teaching Assistant qualification is not required – your attitude, enthusiasm and ability to engage with children are what matter most.
