Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Primary schools across Worksop, Nottinghamshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary
Are you a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities in Worksop, Nottinghamshire?
Academics is working with a range of welcoming primary schools across the area and is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 2 pupils on a temporary basis from September 2026.

- Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children within a primary school or similar educational setting.
- A relevant Cache or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
- The right to work in the UK.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
