We are delighted to offer the opportunity for three qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist posts at Band 6 based in the Ashfield, Bassetlaw and Rushcliffe Local Mental Health Teams (LMHTs). The LMHTs have a range of mental health professionals working within them and support people who experience a variety of mental health difficulties, including complex trauma, psychosis, depression, anxiety, dissociation, self-harm and life-threatening behaviours.
The successful applicant will work alongside two experienced Clinical Psychologists working in the team and will support them with the provision of psychological interventions with patients who are under the LMHT. The post holder will be a key member of the multidisciplinary LMHT, providing direct individual and group clinical work.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
Main duties of the jobClinical Associate Psychologists will be working alongside qualified Clinical Psychologists as a part of the psychological services contribution to the multidisciplinary community teams. This post will enhance the current workforce provision serving the mental health needs of the local community. In this role the CAP will provide a flexible community offer as they are competent in the planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence-based psychological interventions.
