We're now looking for a Warehouse Operations Support Manager to take ownership of our co-pack operation and support the Operations Manager in delivering safe, efficient and cost‑effective warehouse operations.
Pay Rate: £40,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Grade: RCS K Contract Type: Permanent (Full‑Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday flexible office hours Location: Manton Wood 4 - S80 3EG
- Oversee a growing co‑pack operation, ensuring effective planning, execution and performance delivery
- Support and deputise for the Operations Manager, contributing to the smooth running of warehouse operations and assisting with operational decision‑making and leadership cover as required
- Lead and develop a team of four direct reports, providing day‑to‑day people management, HR support, and driving strong employee engagement and EOS initiatives
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact through regular communication, performance reporting, and customer meetings (face‑to‑face and virtual), while proactively identifying and scoping new opportunities
- Drive health & safety excellence, continuous improvement and systems implementation, supporting CI initiatives, overseeing H&S compliance, contributing to OMS implementation, and fostering a positive site culture and engaged workforce
- Proven management experience within a fast‑paced warehouse or logistics environment, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations and co‑pack activity
- Strong people leadership capability, able to drive employee engagement, positive site culture and successfully lead teams through change while delivering agreed operational targets
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and communication ability (written and verbal) to build strong relationships at all levels and support pricing of new co‑pack opportunities
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including experience of budget management, cost control and contributing to pricing and start‑up activity (desirable)
- High level of IT literacy, with practical experience of WMS (JDA and Nulogy desirable) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
