£15.00-£17.00 per hour | 37 hours per week | Worksop

Stafforce Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a respected and innovative manufacturing organisation. We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join their expanding production team.

You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery to support efficient, high‑quality production. Full training will be provided on specialist equipment due to the unique nature of the industry.

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery, including laser‑based equipment and grinding machines.
• Set up machines using CAD drawings and tooling specifications with accurate calibration.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Safely handle materials, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the production area.
• Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring all components meet required quality standards.
• Use hand tools and welding equipment for minor repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of production activity and machine performance.
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery, grinding machines, tooling setup, welding, and materials handling.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Confident using hand tools and performing basic measurements and calculations.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
