What You’ll Do

• Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification. Ensuring tasks and output are to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
• Translate CAD drawings to complete required tooling tasks.
• Operate equipment and machinery for which they are authorised.
• General housekeeping of the department.
• Ensure lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
• Liaise with other departments/functions to ensure good team collaboration.
• Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, while adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
• Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Formal engineering qualification.

• B.TEC ONC or equivalent.
• Recognised apprenticeship training programme.
• Abrasive wheels regulations.
• Health and Safety at work.
• Ability to work with and support Teams.
• Engage in Company initiatives.
