Despatch Operative

About The Role

As a Despatch Picker, you will help prepare orders for delivery in a busy sandwich bakery. You will pick, check, and pack products to make sure orders are correct and ready to leave on time. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where teamwork is important.

• Pick products quickly and accurately.
• Check orders before they are loaded for delivery.
• Pack trays and boxes safely and neatly.
• Label products and orders correctly.
• Move stock safely around the despatch area.
• Report any damaged products or stock issues.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety rules.
• Keep your work area clean and tidy.

• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Good communication skills.
