Portland Pathways is a community focused initiative which aims to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities. As part of our commitment to increasing employment outcomes across Nottinghamshire, we are looking for a motivated, compassionate and dedicated Pathways Advisor to join our team based in Worksop (S80). Whilst primarily based at this site, you will be required to travel across our other sites.
Inthis role, you will:
- Manage a caseload of customers, providing personalised employment advice, guidance, and support.
- Conduct employability assessments and develop tailored plans to help individuals achieve their goals.
- Engage with employers; build new partnerships; and promote inclusive employment opportunities.
- Deliver Disability Confident awareness and support employers to recruit people with disabilities.
- Support customers with job searching, applications, CV writing, interview preparation, and in-work support.
- Develop relationships with local agencies and community organisations in order to maximise customer opportunities.
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and employer meetings across Nottinghamshire.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and audit requirements.
- A relevant qualification up to Level 3.
- A wealth of experience in the region, building on and creating sustainable referral networks.
- Experience of managing a customer caseload in a similar role.
- Strong employer engagement and relationship management experience.
- Understanding of welfare-to-work programmes, housing, benefits, and barriers to employment.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, including Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet targets.
- A genuine understanding of disability-related barriers to employment and a commitment to inclusion.
- Full UK driving licence - Able to travel between sites.
