We are recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our independent schools in Worksop S80 3AP
.

Position is term‑time only, 28 hours a week, 5 days on 7‑day rota.

Proposed start date: 20th April 2026.

• Serve around 600 students and staff each day.
• Assist with food preparation and the service of breakfast, lunch, and supper.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen and dining hall.
• Support the team by completing other general duties as needed.

• Experience working in a similar role and environment.
• Highly organised and comfortable in a high‑pressure environment.
• High standards of food hygiene and compliance with health and safety rules.
• Excellent customer service and social skills.
• Responsibility for the preparation and serving of food to staff.
• Can‑do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Customer focused.
• Basic food knowledge.
• Willingness to participate and enjoy working as part of the team.
