We're now looking for a Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

• Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
• Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
• Using Connect
  
  TMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resources to planning deadlines
• Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given time frames

• Previous transport and route planning experience – essential, ideally working with FMCG customers
• Strong understanding of Driver Regulations and the Working Time Directive
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a logical, analytical approach
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
