Temporary ongoing with potential for long-term opportunities About the Role We are looking for skilled and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading name in logistics and freight distribution, operating from a modern site in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking consistent work with well-maintained vehicles, a supportive transport team, and flexible shift options including morning and night shifts.
Youll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety and compliance standards. Drivers benefit from clear communication, fair workloads, and routes planned to maximise driving hours effectively.
Key Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and professionally. Complete trunking, collections, and deliveries to RDCs or customer sites. Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company policy. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and use in-cab technology when required. Follow all road transport regulations, Working Time Directive, and company procedures. Represent the business positively when dealing with customers and site personnel.
What We Offer Competitive hourly pay between £19 £ 21 per hour (rates vary by shift pattern). Weekly pay every Wednesday.
