Loading Shovel Driver South Kirkby | Waste & Recycling £15.24 per hour | 4 on 4 off | Days & Nights Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a busy waste recycling facility based in South Kirkby, who are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for a long-term position within a busy industrial and recycling environment.

The Role As a Loading Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating loading shovel equipment across the recycling facility. Key responsibilities will include:
Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently across the site Loading and moving waste and recyclable materials Feeding processing machinery and waste streams Loading vehicles and stockpiling materials Carrying out daily checks on the loading shovel and reporting any defects Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Following all site health & safety procedures Supporting the wider site team with general duties when required About You The successful candidate will:
Have proven experience operating a Loading Shovel Hold a valid Loading Shovel licence Be confident operating heavy mobile plant within a busy industrial environment Have a strong understanding of health & safety Be reliable, safety-conscious and hardworking Be comfortable working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including days and nights Ideally have previous experience within waste, recycling, quarrying or heavy industrial environments Previous Loading Shovel experience and a valid licence are essential for this position.
