Despatch Checker - Worksop At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Despatch Checker to work with a leading logistics company in Worksop. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all outbound loads before they leave the facility. Shift patterns:
* 18:00 - 02:00, Monday to Friday, Fixed shift. Pay rates:
* 13.20 GBP hourly. Essential requirements for Despatch Checker:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using WMS and handheld scanners.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership.
* Understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Desirable requirements for Despatch Checker:
* Previous dispatch or warehouse experience.
* Experience working with WMS systems.
* Knowledge of stock control processes.
* FLT/PPT/LLOP experience or licences.
* Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Good understanding of outbound operations. Role for Despatch Checker:
* Verify pallets and parcels against WMS dispatch notes.
* Check SKU accuracy, quantities, batch codes, and dates.
* Escalate any discrepancies to the management team.
* Maintain high safety and quality standards within the warehouse.
