Hiring: $14-16 per hour.

Worland Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Cook to join our dietary department. We believe breakfast, lunch and dinner should be healthy, delicious and fun. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

• Prepare pre-planned cycle menus effectively.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Ensure food quality and timing for tray service.
• Maintain and improve standards of food storage, preparation, and service.
• Check food supplies on order forms.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, hygienic methods.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Competency in operating kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop.

• Required:
  
  Current Food Handlers card (or ability to obtain one) issued by local Health Department.
• Preferred:
  Prior cooking experience in a skilled nursing environment.
