Pay: $16.75/hour

• Overseeing activities at an aquatic facility.
• Assisting with swimming lessons.
• Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety of patrons.
• Maintaining order in swimming areas.
• Performing first aid procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
• Maintaining records and reports.
• Must maintain a positive and friendly approach with all patrons.
• Always keep constant surveillance of patrons; act immediately to secure safety in case of emergency.
• Perform various jobs as related to daily task list.
• Attend in-service training monthly.
• Able to work different shifts as assigned, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in interacting with people of various ages.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Must have a current certification in Lifeguarding First Aid/CPR or pass pre-requisite lifeguard testing/course.

Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classrooms, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry.
