Salary – £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Hours – 36.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday with flexible and hybrid working

Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)

We have an exciting role for a Part Qualified Accountant in our Steyning office.

• Accounts production for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and not-for-profit clients
• Preparation of tax computations
• Dealing with client queries as they arise
• Management accounts and VAT returns
• Managing own workflow

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• AAT qualified or equivalent as a minimum, ideally studying towards ACCA or ACA
• Previous experience in an accountancy firm
• Team player with strong work ethic and drive
• Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
• Highly personable with excellent communication skills and presentation
• Good knowledge of Excel, Xero, Sage, Quick Books & CCH is desirable
• Xero certified is desirable but not essential

A driving licence and own transport is required.
