Accounts Assistant

Location: Lancing

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company based in Lancing on a full time permanent basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be supporting the Head of Finance by completing bookkeeping, accounting and clerical tasks.

As an Accounts Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

* Completing VAT calculations

* Controlling cashflow across multiple currencies

* Providing finance and accounting support across all departments

* Supporting, managing, and guiding accounts assistants with day‑to‑day duties

* Assisting with ad‑hoc projects and reporting as required

Requirements for the Accounts Assistant:

* Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role

* High level of accuracy

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organisational abilities

* Competent IT skills, including spreadsheet software and ERP systems

* Analytical thinker and problem solver

* AAT Level 4 preferred but not essential

Benefits & Salary for the Accounts Assistant:

 * £28,500

* Full‑time, permanent position

* Based in Lancing with free onsite parking

* Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm (hybrid working 2 days a week after successful probation)

* 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
