Accounts Assistant

• Position: Accounts Assistant
• Salary: £28,500
• Location: Lancing
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company based in Lancing on a full time permanent basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be supporting the Head of Finance by completing bookkeeping, accounting and clerical tasks.

• Completing VAT calculations
• Controlling cashflow across multiple currencies
• Providing finance and accounting support across all departments
• Supporting, managing, and guiding accounts assistants with day‑to‑day duties
• Assisting with ad‑hoc projects and reporting as required

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
• High level of accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational abilities
• Competent IT skills, including spreadsheet software and ERP systems
• Analytical thinker and problem solver
• AAT Level 4 preferred but not essential

• £28,500
• Full‑time, permanent position
