Main duties of the job

As a Trust Doctor, you will be an integral part of our dynamic medical team, collaborating with junior doctors, Physicians Associates, and specialist nursing practitioners.

Your clinical expertise, communication skills, initiative, and leadership qualities will be essential in guiding medical students and junior doctors, while also contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
Clinical Skills and Experience
  • Completion of F1/F2 competencies or equivalent
  • Current or previous employment in a UKFPO affiliated foundation programme or 12 months' experience after full GMC registration and evidence of achievement of foundation competencies
  • Have 4-12 months' experience in medical specialties as defined by the JRCPTB by time of appointment
  • Recognition of, and ability to undertake the initial management of, an acutely ill patient
Organisation and Planning
  • Experience and ability to work in multi‑professional teams
  • Understanding of NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints
  • Evidence of managerial skills:
    Achievements / Course attended
