Specialty Doctor in Integrated Sexual Health

We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor interested in the specialty to join the HIV and Integrated Sexual Health teams at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust based at the Worthing clinic, Rowlands Road.

This is a fixed term full‑time post, but consideration will be made for people who would like to work less than full time hours or do sessional work.

The post holder will be expected to staff integrated Sexual Health & Contraception outpatient clinics including LARC clinics and be the senior clinician in some clinics.

The post holder will primarily be staffing clinics 09.00‑17.00 with one evening clinic per week (11‑19:00 on this day) and likely 1:4 Saturday morning GUM/ISH clinic. Suitably qualified post holder will also have their own cohort of outpatients living with HIV. Main responsibilities is to independently manage patients in booked and integrated sexual health clinics and be the senior clinician on the clinic floor.

• Breadth of experience in and outside specialty

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
• Four years post‑graduation, with two years in the relevant specialty

• Clinical experience in the UK
• Clinical experience in sexual health, contraception
• Clinical experience in HIV, sexual health & contraception

• Experience and ability to work in multi‑professional teams
• Understanding of: NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints

• Evidence of an interest and commitment to teaching

• Evidence of participation in audit
• Research experience
• Publications
• Prizes and honours
• Appropriate progression of career to date
