As An SEN TA, You Will
- Offer one:to:one and small group support to children with various needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
- Help carry out Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised learning.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, social skills, and emotional control.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space.
- Experience with children with SEN (either in a school or care environment).
- A patient, nurturing, and flexible attitude.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness for one).
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are a plus.
