Live in Carer

Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in care professionals to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Live-in carer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and enabling them to stay in their own homes.

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed health plans.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to our Registered Manager

• A caring, empathetic and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to help others in need of care
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Live-in carer
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
• Ability to perform lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs
