We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced psychological therapist or practitioner psychologist to join our Acute and Urgent Care Services in Worthing. This is a senior clinical role spanning both our inpatient and community crisis services — providing evidence-based psychological input across the Working Age Adult Wards, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) and the Haven.

What you’ll doYou’ll provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for people experiencing acute mental health difficulties. Working within a skilled multi‑disciplinary team, you’ll help ensure psychologically informed, recovery-focused care across inpatient and crisis settings. The post also involves consultation, reflective practice and supervision to support the development of colleagues and the wider service.
What you’ll bringYou’ll be an HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist or accredited psychological therapist (e.g. BABCP-registered CBT Therapist, Art Therapist) with substantial post‑qualification experience. You’ll bring clinical expertise, professional confidence and the ability to navigate complex presentations. Strong MDT collaboration, supervision skills and a commitment to compassionate, person‑centred care are essential.
