Up to £36,000 based on experience

Southern Water is embarking on a bold journey to install Smart Meters across our network — a strategic move that will help us and our customers reduce water abstraction, cut carbon emissions, and improve financial efficiency. But that’s just the beginning.

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Smart Operations Centre. This role is to cover a period of Maternity Leave and is central to transforming how we engage with customers, identify leakage, and drive down water consumption — all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Accurately process and manage smart meter exchange data.
* Collaborate with internal teams and our Alternative Metering Service (AMS) Partner.
* Support inbound customer queries and ensure smooth, timely resolutions.
* Analyse data to spot trends and drive performance improvements.
* Help shape the future of smart water operations through insight and innovation.
