The Role

As a Business Management Administrator, you’ll join a Digital team already undergoing significant change. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the digital space, gain broad exposure across an entire IT function, and take ownership of meaningful work from day one.

You will sit within the Digital Business Management Office (BMO) — the team responsible for governance, performance, reporting, people and culture, and operational coordination across the entire Digital Directorate.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will play a vital role in ensuring the Digital Directorate runs smoothly day to day. You’ll support governance, coordinate activities across the team, maintain high‑quality information, and contribute to projects that help shape how Digital operates.

  • Provide day‑to‑day coordination and administrative support, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain governance documentation including risks, actions, decisions, KPIs and performance records.
  • Support the upkeep of the Digital risk register by recording updates, checking completeness and prompting owners.
  • Coordinate meetings and events — scheduling, agendas, attendance, logistics and preparation of high‑quality presentation materials.
  • Collect, check and format KPI and performance data for reporting cycles.
  • Support people, engagement and culture activities including town halls, onboarding and training compliance.
  • Produce clear, engaging digital communications for Teams, SharePoint and newsletters.
  • Manage team spaces (e.g., SharePoint/Teams) to keep information structured and accessible
  • Document and continually improve Digital processes, identifying opportunities to streamline administrative activities and recommending enhancements.
Essential

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Proactive, curious and digitally confident, with a willingness to learn and improve ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience producing clear written content.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • An interest in building a career within a Digital/IT environment.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting governance, reporting or risk processes.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint or similar platforms and AI tools such as Copilot.
