About the roleAs Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how riders around the world discover and experience our products. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity, storytelling, and rider ‑ obsession to fuel the growth of HUNT globally. The role has a broad marketing remit, covering public and media relations, email marketing, print and digital advertising, sports and event marketing, content creation, and social media marketing.
It is a hands‑on position with clear ownership of brand execution and campaign delivery.
Reporting into the Marketing Director, with strategic reporting to UK Regional Head, you will primarily be responsible for the HUNT brand marketing in the UK, but also key in supporting brand marketing in our regions worldwide and as we expand into new markets. Working closely with the Marketing, Ecommerce and Product teams, and external media relations, to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the company’s overall objectives and ethos.
About usWe are a direct‑to‑consumer business, specialising in high‑performance after‑market bicycle wheels under the brand HUNT Wheels, operating out of headquarters in West Sussex, England and operations out of the USA and Germany. Our goal is to create solutions for all riders, taking an engineering first approach to create cutting‑edge performance wheel products for riders around the world.
Key responsibilities- Serve riders by helping to create and communicate the best possible products to improve their riding experience.
- Contribute to the growth and reach of HUNT Wheels, with a focus on driving brand awareness and recognition among UK riders, while supporting marketing and brand growth goals throughout the USA, Europe, and the rest of the world.
- Collaborate and manage relationships with journalists and endemic media publications, keeping them informed of brand and product updates, product launches, and opportunities for reviews, features, and in‑depth technical and company storytelling.
- Plan and execute best‑in‑class product launches; create press materials, organise asset and content capture, manage go‑to‑market calendars, and coordinate press package distribution.
- Drive awareness through creative and compelling video content.
- Leverage athletes, industry partners, and creative campaigns to grow owned audiences (email, social and community).
- Plan, maintain, and execute a marketing calendar that connects with riders through PR, video content, event activations, social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Build and execute impactful brand campaigns designed to reach new riders and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns; brief and collaborate with graphic designers to create impactful advertising assets, manage paid media budget, optimise creative and placements for maximum impact.
- Plan and execute event activations at trade shows, pop‑ups, races, and community riding events.
- Work with the ecommerce team to optimise website functionality, navigation, content, copy, and UX.
- Support and promote OE manufacturer and key stockist relationships, developing mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Listen and deeply understand rider needs; identify market trends and emerging technologies, to feed insight and innovation into product development.
- Present new products and technologies to external media representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Manage marketing and content relationships with sponsored athletes and teams.
- Coordinate with the UK Regional Head and wider team to support UK regional success, aligned to revenue, audience reach, and audience growth goals.
- Contribute to the development of an annual channel marketing budget across advertising, sponsorship, content, trade shows, and events.
- Manage monthly budget activity (media planning, sponsorship payments, and product allocation) with accuracy, transparency, and detailed reporting.
- A strong passion for all types of cycling culture, with a deep understanding of road, gravel, cyclocross, track, and triathlon disciplines.
