Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Vaccination Nurse post within the supportive, friendly Maternity team post holder will work as part of a dynamic team delivering a flexible, safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women and people as part of UHS Sussex Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Maternity Vaccination programme, including Whooping Cough, Flu and new RSV vaccine, as set out by NHS England.
- Support the roll‑out of vaccination programmes and promote vaccinations and screening in pregnancy.
- Assist staff in increasing awareness of healthy pregnancy choices to maternity service users.
- Contribute to audit, protocol development and quality record‑keeping for the vaccination service.
- Work flexibly across the working week in the Antenatal Clinic.
- Promote public health vaccination initiatives and additional vaccine programmes.
