Amazon Web Services (AWS) builds and operates some of the largest internet infrastructure on the planet, providing companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud. AWS Utility Computing (UC) offers product innovations such as Amazon S3, EC2, and new product releases that set AWS’s services apart. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
AWS Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with customers requiring specialized security solutions.
- Be a catalyst to deliver truly disruptive products that are growing rapidly
- Define, build, own, and run services in a high‑growth environment
- Solve unique and first‑order problems in areas such as compute services (containers, serverless, Dynamo
DB/No
SQL, Glacier, S3 data lakes, etc.) - Learn how to build and operate distributed systems at scale
- Build and influence the tools and utilities that are part of the AWS fleet running internal services
To apply for this role you must be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance.

- Building unique solutions to customers’ technical problems
- Studying and learning from industry recognized senior and principal engineers
- Coaching, hiring and developing team members
- Experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language
- Experience with Python or R
