Warehouse Operative

Location: Lancing

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well‑established company based in Lancing.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with knowledge of health & safety and goods‑in processes.
You’ll also need a valid, clean UK driving licence as you’ll be required to drive the company van to deliver goods, along with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (not in-house).
As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
 
* Completing paperwork to ensure goods are dispatched correctly
 
* Using a forklift (counterbalance) to unload deliveries
 
* Labelling, sorting, and storing goods in the correct places
 
* Assisting with stock counts
 
* Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
 
* Driving the company van to deliver goods
 
* Supporting health & safety procedures
Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:
 
* Valid, clean UK driving licence
 
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (not in-house)
 
* Previous experience in a warehouse/goods‑in environment

The Warehouse Operative is a full‑time, permanent role based in Lancing, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with an annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.
