Machinist

The machinists work closely with our Engineering and Production departments to create parts for our manufacturing equipment.

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications
• Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce parts
• Programming and running CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Basic understanding of G code
• Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job
• Maintains specifications by taking measurements with proper measuring devices
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
• Other duties as assigned

• Precision Machining or similar technical degree preferred
• Intermediate math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints
• Understand computer software programs such as CAD
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.

The salary range for this position is: $52,000 - $65,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: [outline benefits such as bonus, paid time off, 401K, medical, dental … etc.]
