About CrossroadsCrossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church. Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren't located near one of our physical sites. The Kids’ Club Site Director leads all Kids’ Club at the site and is responsible working with other ministries to increase collaboration, further the vision of Crossroads at the site and be the Kids’ Club advocate. Ensures that Kids' Club is fun, welcoming, and safe for all kids. The director is responsible for the execution of Kids’ Club curriculum, content, events and all aspects of birth-5th grade.
This role leads and develops all Kids’ Club weekend and weekday volunteers. Provide feedback/evaluations and curriculum coaching for volunteers. Provide opportunities for volunteers to grow, particularly in areas of developing leaders. Work with Kids’ Club site support team, helping to provide consistent experiences across all sites and provide regular feedback.
- Connect and collaborate with site team to coordinate plans and vision for the site.
- Work with Kids' Club and site staff to develop overall strategy for volunteer recruitment, development and training, volunteer and parent communication and collaboration with other ministries.
- Responsible for all onboarding of site Kids' Club volunteers, working with Kids' Club site support to ensure that all volunteers are equipped, encouraged and ready to serve.
- Responsible for all childcare needs at site, working with other KC staff to keep processes consistent across all sites.
- Own all aspects of Kids' Club weekend operations at site.
- Responsible for oversight of all events/communication related to Kids' Club at the site.
- Provide regular feedback and input to KC site support on weekend experiences, family needs and volunteer development priorities.
- Manage site Kids’ Club budget.
- Manage and lead any additional Kids' Club staff members at the site.
- Work with site Project Manager, who leads the Prep Team and admin volunteers, to prepare for weekends and care for families and volunteers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Develop and lead high capacity volunteer leaders.
- Experience leading volunteer teams and developing leaders.
- Experience leading kids and passion for kids’ ministry.
- Able to connect with kids, parents, and volunteers.
- Understand budget constraints and operate within those boundaries.
- Must be a self-initiator and have a teachable spirit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrate flexibility, responsibility, dependability, and follow through.
- Ability to see the big picture and simultaneously attend to details.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Work both independently and within a team.
- Develop authentic ongoing relationships with leaders and ministry teams and their administrative teams.

- Experience with Mac/PC, Internet Explorer, and Google Docs.
