GEM Service, part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, specializes in commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical services, including HVAC and plumbing, testing/balancing, electrical, ductwork cleaning, facility management, energy procurement, and building automation controls.
GEM Service is in search of an Account Manager with a detailed, customer service-oriented spirit who can grow and nurture relationships with current customers, support internal teams and successfully price, organize, and deliver small HVAC projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Understand clients' business objectives and provide strategic guidance on how our products/services can support their goals.
- Identify and qualify opportunities for account growth and new business development within existing accounts.
- Proactively identify client needs and drive account expansion by introducing the organization’s full suite of services and capabilities.
- Assist customers with planning and scope development for retrofit and/or replacement projects.
- Perform job walk downs and assemble detailed project estimates.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposal presentations.
- Lead job turnover process: project set up, pre-project meeting, and site visits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, accounting, technician, dispatch, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strategic account plans for customers, including areas of improvement, and multi-year growth targets.
- Negotiate Project and Maintenance contracts with clients.
- Strong project quoting and project management experience with HVAC equipment replacement and large repairs.
- Customer service-focused approach to problem solving.
- Team player and a willingness to help fellow associates.
- Motivated to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- At least 5 years of proven work experience in HVAC service-related project management.
- History of pricing, managing, and coordinating installation of small projects and repairs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
