Shop Supervisor

Pay Rate: £31,500-£33,500 per annum depending on experience + overtime for some hours
Grade: N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time), 40 hour working week
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 (including working weekends), must be able to work an 8 hour shift anytime between 8am-8pm (08:00-20:00)
Location: HM Leyhill, GL12 8BT

The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.

We're now looking for a Shop Supervisor who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

• Working on the prison wing, running the store for inmates
• Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison
• Complying with prison rules and regulations

• Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• Have experience leading and motivating teams
• Can apply their practical experience carrying out tasks in a retail or warehouse industry (such as convenience stores or similar)
• Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
• Are able to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting
• Have good communication skills
