DDS Residential Counselor (14 Hours) - Creek Street

Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges who are referred by the Department of Developmental Services. The Residential Counselor supports individuals diagnosed with a Developmental Disability to live independently as much as possible, providing evidence‑based treatment and care within a group living environment. Counselors advocate for residents, promote community integration, and implement procedures that ensure health, safety, and well‑being.

• Assist in developing individualized, person‑centered treatment plans and play a lead role in daily implementation.
• Implement all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of residents, including general cleanliness and safety of the site.
• Assist residents with accessing transportation and other logistics.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

USD $20.00/Hr.

• Excellent supervision (individual and group), professional development, and training opportunities.
