Construction Technician - Laborer

We are currently seeking Construction Technicians / Laborers with a valid CDL to join our team in Wrentham, MA
. The role involves installing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehabilitation and repair projects.

We are offering a limited-time sign‑on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a current CDL. New hires without a current CDL may qualify for a reduced bonus. The starting pay is $26.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and CDL class, with adjusted prevailing wages for government projects.

• Repair various types of sewer lines using specific products and processes
• Ensure the pull‑in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D‑Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install the prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn/training on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor‑trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job sites and shop

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a construction laborer and/or installation technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor‑vehicle report
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and meet Insituform’s motor‑vehicle standards (hazmat endorsement preferred but not required)
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery‑powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly up to 85% of the time (throughout the New England Territory)
