ReportingtotheCFOandworkingcloselywiththe Financial Controller ,youwillbepartofthe
FinancialAccountingfunctionandplayanimportantroleinsupportingtheUKbusinessacross
its multiple entities.
This is a genuinely hands-on Senior Technical Accountant role
with plenty of opportunity to get involved inprojectsandimprove
processesratherthansimplymaintainingthestatusquo.
Your responsibilities will include:- Supportingthemonthlyfinancialcloseacrossmultipleentities
- Preparationandreviewoffinancialinformationandbalancesheetreconciliations
- Statutoryandfinancialaccounting
- Supporting year-endandauditprocesses
- WorkingacrossmultipleUKentities
- Supportingthewiderfinanceteamwithtechnicalaccountingmatters
- Identifyingopportunitiestoimproveprocessesandcontrols
- Gettinginvolvedinfinanceprojectsandbusinessimprovementinitiatives
- Workingwithcolleaguesacrossthewiderinternationalgroup
WeareideallylookingforafullyqualifiedACAorACCAaccountant,althoughapplicationsfrom
strong part-qualifiedaccountantswillalsobeconsidered.
Youwillideallyhave:- ACA/ACCAqualificationorequivalent
- Experiencegainedwithinacomplexormulti-entity environment
- Strongfinancialaccountingexperience
- Goodunderstandingofmonth-endandyear-end processes
- Excellentattentiontodetail
- Ahands-on,practical approach
- Theconfidencetoworkinafast-pacedandchangingenvironment
- Awillingnesstogetinvolvedandtakeownership
- Most importantly,youwillbesomeonewhowantstolearn,developandgetinvolved.
Thisisn’tnecessarilytheroleforsomeonelookingforaquietnine-to-five position.
