Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk to join the Team at Heddfan Unit. The role supports administrative duties within inpatient wards and is integral to the nursing and medical team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors. They must demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner, maintain confidentiality, and provide efficient clerical support to nursing staff.
Applicants should have a good standard of education, adaptability, and good organisational skills. A professional telephone manner is essential for courteous responses to all enquiries.
Previous Ward Clerk experience and knowledge of the Patient Administration System (WPAS) is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Language requirementAbility to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
