Position: Sales Distribution Manager

Location: Field-based, covering the UK

Job Type: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £45-£55,000.00 per annum DOE + Company vehicle + bonuses

Purpose of Role

As the Sales Distributor Manager, you will drive sales of our equipment and product to distributors and through their channels. You will be responsible for developing, managing and expanding our distributor network to drive sustainable revenue growth and increase market penetration. The role ensures distributors are aligned with the company’s commercial strategy, sales targets and brand standards across assigned territories.

You will play a critical role in strengthening distributor relationships, optimizing sales performance, identifying new market opportunities, ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate and appoint new distributors in targeted markets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Set, monitor, and review distributor sales targets and KPIs
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures and contract terms
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and business planning meetings
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting and stock availability
  • Provide product knowledge training and sales support to distributor teams
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and pricing dynamics
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, branding and trade marketing standards
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and performance analysis for management
KPIs
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Revenue growth percentage within assigned territory
  • Market coverage expansion (new regions/accounts opened)
  • Number of active and performing distributors
  • Distributor retention and relationship strength
  • Forecast accuracy rate
  • Stock availability and reduction in out-of-stock incidents
  • Gross margin performance
  • Speed and effectiveness of new distributor onboarding
  • Improvement in distributor sales team productivity
Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales, distributor management, or channel management
  • Basic technical understanding of coffee equipment and the coffee industry including product features and functionality
  • Substantial experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and successfully managing complex business accounts
  • Experience working with distributors in a relevant industry (e.g., FMCG, Food & Beverage etc.)
  • Experience managing multi-regional or territory-based sales operations
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing commercial agreements
Skills / Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the UK coffee and/or coffee machine market (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
