We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to play a key role in supporting and leading activity across a range of projects and categories. At Ambition North Wales, we’re committed to making a meaningful impact through procurement. This is a three year, fixed term contract initially.

As Procurement Officer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing complex projects and negotiations, ensuring value for money and strong supplier performance. Supporting the development of sourcing strategies that reflect our environmental and social values. Using data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring. Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and systems. Supporting and sharing knowledge with the procurement team, stepping into a leadership role when required to ensure continuity and progress.

looking for a Procurement Officer with:
  • Previous experience in the role, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement. ACIPS qualification(or equivalent), with a strong understanding of public procurement principles. A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems and drive improvements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Confidence using digital tools and systems to support activity.
