Description

Manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts and agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Communicate with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
Assist in supplier evaluation and selection to meet quality and delivery standards.
Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department with administrative tasks and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Profile

A successful Purchasing Co-ordinator should have:

Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
