Assurance and Compliance Manager
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
£49,600 - £60,000 per annum (plus annual bonus) plus Sodexo rewards and benefits.
Job IntroductionAre you an experienced asset management professional with a passion for compliance, data quality, and continuous improvement? We are looking for an Assurance and Compliance Manager to join our Government UK & Ireland Property Professional Services team, supporting a major central government property portfolio across the UK and Europe. In this pivotal role, you will lead the management and assurance of asset and compliance data across approximately 700 sites, ensuring robust governance, accurate CAFM records, and effective lifecycle management of critical assets.
Whatyou’ll do
- Lead, develop, and support the Asset Data team.
- Ensure effective asset data management within CAFM systems.
- Develop and maintain robust asset and PPM change control processes.
- Assure and validate PPM schedules provided by FM suppliers.
- Support forward works planning through effective technical assurance and survey activity.
- Manage relationships with FM suppliers to support compliance and asset data quality.
- Coordinate technical surveys and additional client technical requirements.
- Monitor and track remedial actions arising from audits and compliance reports.
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks across asset and compliance records.
- Support compliance audits through evidence preparation and audit trail management.
- Produce technical reports and management summaries for senior stakeholders.
- Provide wider contract support to maintain operational compliance and service delivery.
- Experience leading teams within a technical or asset management environment.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of ISO
55000 standards. - Experience using CAFM systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence handling complex datasets.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
