Building Surveyor – Remote (South Wales)
Covering:
Cardiff to Swansea (M4 corridor)
We’re working with a growing property consultancy that’s looking to bring on board a Building Surveyor who’s confident working independently, managing the own workload, and delivering solid, professional advice to clients.
This is a fully remote position with no office to report to, covering a manageable local patch between Cardiff and Swansea (mostly along the M4). You’ll have the autonomy to plan your day, while still having the support of a knowledgeable and friendly team when needed.
What you’ll be doing- Conducting a range of building surveys, inspections, and reporting.
- Working on a mix of commercial and residential properties (approx. 60/40 split).
- Managing your own schedule — site visits are all local, no long-distance travel.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, delivering clear and practical advice.
- You’re a Building Surveyor who can hit the ground running.
- You don’t need to be chartered — what matters is your practical experience and ability to work autonomously.
- You’re based between Cardiff and Swansea (or nearby) and happy to travel locally within that area.
- You know how to manage your time, structure your day, and deliver high-quality reports without needing close supervision.
- £35,000 – £50,000, depending on experience
