Job Overview
Based at Wrexham Dental Centre. This role is for a qualified Dental Nurse who can relate to all age groups, assist clinicians with a full range of CDS dental procedures, and manage Community Dental Service paperwork, cash handling, and banking. Experience with patients with special needs is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate may be required to provide support in satellite clinics, mobile units, hospital venues, and domiciliary settings.
The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential. Candidates must be registered with the General Dental Council.
- Support the dental team by providing dental nursing skills.
- Perform clinical administration, including CDS paperwork and cash handling at the base clinic and other locations as required.
- Facilitate a high standard of patient care to all users of the service.
Essential Criteria
- Professional registration with the GDC.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with patients with special needs.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
- Post‑qualification certificate or extended duties qualification.
